His Story: A journey through the greatest story of all time
Unapologetically Sharing Jesus in a Post-Charlie Kirk World
After years of helping others tell their stories of standing out, it's time to share the only story that truly matters, the story of Jesus of Nazareth. He stood out during his 33 years before making the ultimate sacrifice, and that story has never been forgotten. It's time for us to continue telling that story for the next generation.

Hey everyone, this is Trey Griggs, host of Standing Out For years. You know that I have spent a lot of time interviewing a lot of people on this show and I appreciate you so much for supporting the work that I've done over the last three and a half years to bring stories about sales, marketing and leadership, which were so valuable and so much fun. I love the guests that I had, but today is a turning point. Today is September 11th, 2025, the day after Charlie Kirk was assassinated debating college students on a college campus in Utah, and it made me realize something that's been stirring in my heart for a long time, and that is as much as I love telling stories and helping people tell their story, there is one story that is the greatest story of all time and that is his story the story of Jesus of Nazareth. And so today I'm rebranding this show from Standing Out to his story, and I'm going to take a different approach. I'm not going to have any guests on the show and I'm not going to share a lot of my thoughts, although I will share some from time to time. Most importantly, I'm going to let the Bible, the Word of God, the inspired Word of God, tell the greatest story of all time, and so I'm going to be spending time probably three times a week maybe less, maybe more, I'm not sure yet reading through chapters of the Bible and letting the Bible speak for itself. And yes, from time to time, I will share some of my commentary, maybe some stories from my life or things that I've learned along the way, with the hope that it will encourage you, it will inspire you and that, most importantly, that it will impact your life for eternity.
Speaker 1:Now, this may not be your thing and again, for those of you that have subscribed to Standing Out for the last three and a half years and supported the work that I've been doing, thank you so much. I greatly appreciate that. I hope that you will remain as a subscriber to this channel and that you will listen to uh, the, the episodes that I'm going to produce moving forward. But I understand that this may not be for you, and that's totally fine, and so, if it's not for you, this is the time to go ahead and unsubscribe, and that's okay, and I hope that at some point you'll come back and be a subscriber and hear these episodes as you're going on a walk or as you're driving in your car to work or wherever life may take you, but this is something that I need to do unapologetically, courageously, boldly and fearlessly, and so that's what I'm going to do.
Speaker 1:So, from now on, when you get this podcast, when it pops up, it's going to have a new graphic, it's going to have a new title and it's going to have new content, and that is to share with you the greatest story of all time, the story of Jesus of Nazareth, the creator of the universe, who became God incarnate of the universe.
Speaker 1:Who became God incarnate came down onto our earth that he created, came down in human form while still being fully God, so that we may experience life abundantly, so that we may have relationship with God, that we may have a way to the Father and the Bible is an incredible book to simply share that story of God's unfathomable and unsearchable love for his creation and the lengths that he would go to to bridge the gap that sin created and bring us back to himself. I hope that you're encouraged by this, I hope you're inspired. Most importantly, I hope you know how much I love you and, most importantly, how much God loves you. Thank you again for the support and I look forward to seeing you on future episodes of His Story, the greatest story ever told.
